Our framework for prospective, adaptive meta-analysis of aggregate data (FAME) has now been published in PloS Medicine. Developed alongside our STOPCAP meta-analyses, FAME enables more timely, thorough, and reliable systematic reviews of aggregate data, and is only possible through collaboration with trials investigators. Now a similar prospective and collaborative approach is being used in the fight against COVID-19.
